I remember running it fine on my 5 year old MacBook Pro dual core i5, comparatively, the M1 is much more powerful according to claims! Would sims 4 run on that system in terms of basic graphics? I have the 13 inch Macbook Air and I have NEVER played the Sims on my Macbook before or my other laptop. I need to understand how this Origin thing works because I know that it says you need that to play The Sims. The point is that my Macbook does not have a disk drive to put the disk in. Once The Sims 4 comes out, what do I need to do in order to get The Sims 4 for my Macbook? Please help and also by informing me how this Origin process works. Thanks for your support!

The Sims 4, both in CD and digital edition, is compatible for Windows and MacOS, just as The Sims 3. I’m running the game on a MacBook Air just fine. The easiest way is to install Origin on your Mac and download the game from there. If in doubt just check the game specs but you shouldn’t have any problem.
